A Teenage Instagram model feel from the seventeenth floor overhang of a structure while she was taking a selfie, police said.  Police said the young lady, recognized as 16-year-old Hannah M, was attempting to take a Perfect selfie with the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest pinnacle, out of sight.    The high school teenage was remaining on a seat at the edge of the gallery in her folks' level in Dubai, when she lost her parity and feel down the pinnacle.  Hannah was a hopeful model of blended Lebanese and Afghani legacy, as indicated by web based life posts. The corp member while proposing to the female soldier The viral photo of a youth corp member who ended up proposing to a female soldier during his three-week mandatory National Youth Service camping has emerged online. According to reports, the duo met during orientation exercise in Afikpo, Calabar camp of NYSC. They were then said to have fallen in love during the course of parades. Adorable isn’t it. The corp member then proposed to her and she accepted the proposal. Their wedding ceremony is said to be underway in the next coming months.

The United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), has expressed concern over the conditions of more than 40,000 displaced persons affected by flood in Rann, Kalabalge Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.  In a statement issued on Saturday in Maiduguri, the state's capital, OCHA said that the flooding had deprived the affected persons, including women and children access to food and basic services.  OCHA attributed the flood which also damaged an estimated 4,000 hectares of farmlands, to the release of excess water from Kaalia River, neighbouring Cameroon, in the statement signed by its Head of Communication Eve Sabbagh.  The UN agency also reported that Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Rann mainly depended on the farmlands and crops that were damaged by the flood for food.  The floods that also affected the roads coupled with the level of insecurity is making it difficult for humanitarian assistance to access the areas.  “...

Fire razed down about 20 shops loaded with potash at Gashau market in Bade local government area of Yobe state at the early hours of today. Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) confirmed the incident noting that, the  inferno  occurred at about 3:50 Am of Saturday. “Reports from our team in the field observed that over 20 stalls containing different quantities of bags of potash were burned down. “The incident happened around 3:50 am and affected all the shops overnight. “Potash is one industry that is key in employment and has been supporting households across Gashua and a key business in Yobe State”, SEMA said. According to the agency, Governor Mai Mala Buni has given it a green light to respond within the shortest possible time and bring succor to the affected individuals. “We commiserate with the victims of Gashua Fire Disaster. “SEMA as Directed by His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni, will respond accordingly”, it said.
