Mercy Johnson: Why I Can’t Play Romantic Roles In Movies Again Nollywood  actress and super star  Mercy Johnson-Okojie   has revealed that she can never take up a romantic role in movies anymore. She spoke on GoldMynetv recently during an interview on her new movie, “The Legend of Inikpi.” Johnson-Okojie said age is telling on her and that it was better to leave such romantic roles to younger girls in movies. When asked: “Are you open to playing roles that require getting Romantic with another actor on set?” She replied: “Age is telling on me, I just calculated that if I had to do that, what the younger girls will do? It sounds strange  but turned out to be true  that a graduate of a university who is a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Calabar, Cross River State, was said to  have been impregnated by a teenager, a junior Secondary School Student Class 2 (JSS2)  in a school where she was posted for service. Ironically, while some concerned persons were said to have attempted disputing the incident, the Corp member was said to have confirmed her regular sex ordeal with the teenager, a JSS 2 student, which led to her becoming pregnant for the boy. Students of the secondary school (yet to be disclosed) were, however, said to be notorious beyond control. The Corp member was said to have been suspended from the service for ethical breaches; she has also been reported to the NYSC Secretariat, Abuja, for detailed investigation and discipline. The police in Plateau on Friday confirmed the arrest of an 18-year-old man, Marvellous Luka, who allegedly raped his 70-year-old grandmother. The police officer in charge of the case, Insp. Mulleng Alex, said that Luka, lives in Dangu-gu Village, Ampang West District of Mangu, Plateau. Alex said that the suspect has been charged and would soon appear before a High Court in Pankshin, Plateau for trial. The female Lawyer stabbed her husband and mutilated his corpse by cutting his manhood off. According to reports, the lawyer after a heated argument with her husband lost her cool and quickly ran to the kitchen to take a knife, before the husband could say jack he was on the floor with blood oozing from his belly region. The culprit ( Udeme Otike-Odibi ), was accused by the Lagos State Government on a two-count charge of murder and misconduct with regard to a corpse. She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. The offences violate Sections 165 (b) and 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. Section 165 (b) provides five-year imprisonment while Section 223 also stipulates death. Oba, who is the Manager of the first lady’s hotel, Aridolf Hotels and Spars, was said to have hit his 23-year-old ex-lover with his Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) damaging her left leg beyond treatment.
