Thunder Kills 17 Cows In Osun State: These people are using spiritual power to kill our cows, Herdsmen Cries

There is presently palpable apprehension among herdsmen in Osun State, as many of them have started moving their cattle in droves from the State over continuous attacks on their cattle by thunderstorms. Our Correspondent sighted movement of thousands of cows along Iwo-Osogbo road around 12:15am on Sunday morning, following a natural disaster at Iba, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State, in which thunder killed 17 cows. The movement of the herds of cows caused serious panic along the highway, as motorists scampered for safety for fear of being attacked by herdsmen. Our Correspondent took courage to speak with one of the herdsmen, who simply identified himself as Haruna. Hameed Ali (rtd), the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has vowed to sack any officer who cannot live within his or her remuneration and involve in illicit ways to acquire wealth. Ali gave the warning while decorating some newly promoted officers of the service in Abuja on Friday. The service recently promoted 2,508 officers to various ranks and appointed three as members of its management. The customs boss warned that no officer in the service should live above his or her earnings if they desire to remain in service.       ‘Resign Or You Will Soon Be Used To Wash Toilets’ – Fani-kayode Attacks Osinbajo Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has said the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo should resign or he will soon be used to “wash toilets.” Fani-Kayode made the call while lambasting Osinbajo for allegedly flagging off the Use The Toilet campaign. The campaign is aimed at putting a stop to open defecation across the country. This follows President Muhammadu Buhari’s signing of the Executive Order 009 entitled, ‘The Open Defecation-Free Nigeria by 2025 and Other Related Matters Order’ into law. However, Fani-Kayode in a tweet wrote: “VP Yemi Osinbajo launches and flags off the Use The Toilet Campaign, a campaign to stop open defecation in Nigeria while Buhari is presiding over a security council meeting! “A few days ago I wrote: “If Osinbajo doesn’t resign they will send him to wash toilets”.
