Police Arrested Two Women Fighting Publicly Over A Man

The police in Lagos have arrested two women, Comfort Onumebu, 33 and Christy Ogbu, 42, who reportedly engaged in a dirty fight over a man on the street in Lagos where the man resides.

The man, Ekong, might not have expected what will later happen while he secretly engaged the two girls before the ladies later met and engaged in free for all fight.

It was reported that trouble started out when the girls met in Ekong’s place and had a disagreement which led both of them engaging in a bloody fight which disturbed the peace in the neighbourhood.

The most younger of the girls, Comfort, felt that Ekong had much interest in Christy and then reportedly employed a few thugs to attack him. They had been stated to have attacked Ekong and his dog, carted away his plasma TV and pc well worth over N92,000 and escaped as compensation for Comfort.

The incident was reported to the police, the two ladies had been arrested and detained on the police station.

The police according to report had charged the two ladies to court for the show of shame exhibited by them.

The Police charged Comfort with stealing and the attack on Ekong and his dog.

They both pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled on them by the police. The prosecutor, Inspector G. Simon, did not oppose their being granted bail however requested the courtroom for another date for hearing.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni, granted them bail within the sum of N50,000 with one surety every in like sum.

They have been remanded in prison custody pending their bail application

N28million Worth Of Marijuana Seized By NDLEA In Ondo The Ondo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Tuesday said it had seized a total of 14.3 tonnes of Indian hemp in the state. The Federal Government agency also stated that two persons Ohimai Ayodele and Ojeagbese Asabiya have been arrested in connection with the crime.
