HomeNews PDP supporters hide in bush for safety as violence erupts Nembe LGA (Photos) Kelvin 1 November 14, 2019 8:33 am Yesterday in Ogbolomabiri, Nembe LGA, Bayelsa state, at least 5 persons died as suspected All Progressives Congress thugs disrupted a campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party. A lot of PDP supporters took solace in the bush as it was not safe for them anymore. During the violent invasion, a staff of the Bayelsa State Broadcasting Corporation known as Simon Onu, was killed by a stray bullet. Four other persons said to be supporters of the PDP and indigenes of Nembe-Ogbolomabiri community were also killed during the violence, which equally saw a policeman being shot in the leg.
