Why SPDC is still wasting time about  the demands of the Ojobo people? The demands are simple,

1. Start the gas plant project that will supply Ojobo community light now.

2. Put the generating plant in good condition as a palliative measure for the time being. 

3. Shell should employ skilled, semiskilled and unskilled workers from the community.

4. Engage the community contractors in both high and low contracts, the idea of giving  big contracts to friends and cronies should be abrogated, the Local Content Law should be in full practice in Benisede too because, they say, what is good for the goose is good for the ganders and our own cannot be different. 

5. Finally,  Shell should stop militarizing our people. 

Please, these things should be put in order before things get out of hand, for they are not insurmountable.
