Breaking News: DAVIDO In Jail

African music super star, Davido has reacted to news on Nigerian media platforms that he is currently in detention in Dubai after performing at the One Africa Music Fest.

According to a story by HeraldNG, a Nigerian based new platform, "Davido was approached by Michael ‘Dreamchaser’ Abel, a recording artist, and the younger brother of Abu Abel, the CEO of Obimzy Records in Dubai in an elevator at a building in the Dubai Financial District.

Dreamchaser reportedly approached the intoxicated celebrity and his entourage in an elevator. A few seconds later, blood was gushing from his body, and the assailant was identified as Davido by multiple sources".

The platform goes on to share a video which is obviously not Davido or any of the members of his music label.

Davido who thrilled a mega audience at the One Africa Music Fest on Friday in Dubai and took the members of his label shopping while on the trip reacted to the fake news on his Instagram stories with laughter smileys and the words "Just Shut Up". He also shared pictures in his private jet 24 hours earlier as he took off to go spend more time with his wife Chioma and son Ifeanyi in London.

Davido has been subject of so much targeted fake news and provocation from media platforms in Nigeria.
