Nigerian midfielder scores as Real Madrid loses 2-1

Nigerian midfielder, Marvin Akinlabi on Saturday scored for Real Madrid Castilla as they were defeated 2-1 by Racing de Ferrol in the Spanish Segunda B.

Akinlabi scored the first goal of the encounter for Raul’s men in the 24th minute when he converted one-on-one with the Racing goalkeeper.

The 19-year-old’s strike against Racing de Ferrol was his first goal for Real Madrid team B this season.

However, Juan Antonio converted a penalty in the 32 minutes before Fer Beltrán scored the winning goal for Racing .

The result against Racing means it was Real Madrid Castilla’s first home defeat since they were defeated 1-0 by Pontevedra in May this year.
