Man Of God That Asked You To Bring Money Is A Thief, Says Kolenda

The ambiance and people trooping down to the big arena, where a four-day crusade meeting was to be held, portrayed that of great expectation.

There were series of praise and worship by various gospel singers, but the ultimate was the gospel team of the Christ for all Nations (CfaN) whom Daniel Kolenda described as ‘the best in the world.’

At the event with the theme: ‘Fire Conference,’ the messages were precise, apt and captivating. Story-telling and friendly preaching were the hallmarks of the American evangelist, Daniel Kolenda.

At the programme, which held in Abeokuta, Kolenda taught the audience the principles of salvation, healing, prayer, power, repentance and deliverance, devoid of prosperity message.

He said: “It is not enough to call yourself a Christian. You call yourself a Christian, but you live like a devil. Any man who calls himself a man of God, but tells you to bring money is a thief. We are not witchdoctors. Some pastors even steal offerings.”

He urged such clerics to seek God’s mercy and repent.

Praying for youths to achieve academic excellence, he said: “Avoid prostitution and drugs. There is a call for you from Above: ‘Give me your heart.’

The evangelist also urged politicians to stop cheating the people.

Urging people to bring their charms, amulets and so on, which were physically burned, he said protection of Jesus is all that is needed.

Surprisingly, no offering was collected throughout the four-day event.

“We can’t take offering. We are not taking from you,” Kolenda said. He had said the same thing during a courtesy visit to Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Kolenda, who was blessed and anointed by the German international evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke to carry out God’s great commission, serves as the president and chief executive officer of CfaN.
