A number of Nollywood celebrities have decided to show off their personal life and their relationship with God as they have switched from being just actors to man and woman of God.
It is no longer news that some Nollywood celebrities have been reportedly called by God to preach his message and continue the spread of his gospel.
Here's a list of Nollywood actors that we have seen transform into preachers.
Eucharia Anunobi, is a Nigerian actress, producer, and pastor. She is best known for her role in the movie Abuja Connection.
Eucharia is the most prominent on this list as she's totally turned to a woman of God who has been spotted preaching the gospel a couple of times.
She is presently serving as an evangelist in a church around the Egbeda axis of Lagos.
It can be recalled that she lost her only son and has since taken it as God's will for her as she continues to spread the gospel.
Anayo Modestus Onyekwere is a Nigerian actor popularly known as Kanayo O Kanayo. In 1992, Kanayo made his Nollywood debut film appearance in the film Living in Bondage.
Kanayo has starred in over 100 films. He is currently a United Nations ambassador and bears the title of MFR.
The Veteran Nollywood actor has also become a man of God and a deliverance minister to be specific. He was one of the guest ministers, at a crusade held at the Christ Mission Worldwide (CMW) a.ka. Mission for Heaven, with the theme: “Powers of darkness cannot stop me”.
Kanayo joins acting veterans like Liz Benson and Eucharia Anunobi, who have also heeded the call of God.
Elizabeth Benson is a famous Nollywood actress and television personality. She began acting when she was just 5 years old. She became popular when she featured in Fortunes, a television soap opera in 1993.
She has also joined the list of Nollywood stars who have become preachers. She married Bishop Great Ameye of Freedom Family Assembly in 2009 at the Rainbow Christian Assembly and has since assisted her husband in the preaching of the gospel.
She's also been spotted with her husband preaching the gospel.
Nollywood actor, Ernest Azuzu is another prolific actor who decided to become a man of God after battling with stroke for years and becoming healed.
It can be recalled that he was healed and got N1.5m From Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin after which he decided to join his fellow Nollywood actors in spreading the gospel.
The actor after his recovery from battling with stroke revealed that Nollywood is evil and has been working hard to preach the gospel to his fellow actors in a bid to show them the way and light of God.
Zachee Ama Orji, is another popular Nigerian actor, director, producer and filmmaker who has also joined the others on this list to become a man of God.
Zach made his Nollywood debut in 1991, in a movie titled Unforgiven Sin and has gone ahead to become a veteran.
The actor became a pastor in 2012 and has been an evangelist since, preaching the gospel whereveer he can.
Actress Tonto Dikeh is the most controversial name on this list as it was a surprise sometime ago when the actress started preaching and was even spotted in several churches.
The controversial Nollywood actress decided to rekindle her relationship with God right after she got separated from her husband. She took to the streets to preach, lay hands on people as she prayed for them and also spoke in tongues in several videos on her Instagram page.
Although, it seems like she's slowed down with the preaching a little, she revealed that she is a Pastor and has the ability to perform miracles. But she also revealed in another interview that she's somewhat backslided as well.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor popularly known as Mama G is another prolific actress who has made a name for herself in the movie industry for her famed wicked mother-in-law roles.
She surprisingly has become a woman of God who has been spotted at several church programmes preaching. She also was spotted at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Alaba, where she spoke about how God arrested and called her to do his work.
Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel is another actor who also qualifies as a Nollywood actor as he's featured in tons of Nigerian movies.

He also revealed that he's now a full prophetic minister and would not be seen in movies kissing or performing immorality anymore.
