Wizkid And Tiwa Savage Are More Than Just Friends. Here Some Reasons

The emotional ties between Wizkid and Tiwa Savage has been a puzzling topic for their fans for a couple of years now. Are they just friends? Are they dating? Are they doing what adults do when kids are asleep? These and many more are some of the questions left unanswered in the mind of a lot of their fans.

There were lots of rumours and speculations about the relationship between both superstars, but their public display of affection in Wizkid's Fever video obviously fueled a fire that a lot of people want to see burn continuously.

One thing is almost certain though, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage are more than JUST FRIENDS. In fact, in a recent interview, Tiwa stated that they are “friends with few benefits,” as they do music and attend ‘public and private’ shows together. Oh, you want me to say more on this? I'll leave it to your imagination.

On several occasions, both music stars have been seen on stage expressing emotions beyond how people who are 'just friends' in Africa would do. At the AfroRepublik concert last year, Wizkid stopped an electrifying performance midway to bring Mummy Jam Jam (Tiwa Savage) on stage to perform their hit collaboration song, 'Malo.' What caught the attention of many was the introduction, as Starboy (Wizkid) called Tiwa Savage "Someone special" and later added, "Stay sexy for daddy."

In March 2018 at the GidiFest, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid showcased their 'friendship' on stage. Just like the O2 Arena, Wizkid brought Tiwa Savage on stage and this time around, they shared a kiss. Hmm.....*eyes rolling*.

The birthday shout-out from Wizkid to Tiwa Savage can't be forgotten in a hurry either. In an unusual fashion, Wizkid didn't post just one, two or three of Tiwa Savage's photos on his Instagram page, but a whole five of them! Then he went as far as calling her his 'Queen.'

Let's fast forward to the just concluded One Africa music fest held in Dubai on November 15, 2019. It was noticed that Wizkid and Tiwa's public display of affection has now graduated to the level of ass grabbing. Wizkid was spotted rocking Tiwa Savage on stage from behind and at some point grabbed her butt. Surprising, right? Well for a split second it was to Tiwa as well, as she turned around to look but quickly continued to perform. She probably was not expecting it to get to that in public.

It would be recalled that Teebillz, the estranged husband of Tiwa Savage came out to dispel rumours of the pop star's relationship with Wizkid last year, saying that she would never have sexual relations with Wizkid, instead, she would rather be with DJ Cuppy’s father Femi Otedola or Davido’s father Adedeji Adeleke, both of them well-known billionaires. Teebillz even went further to state that Wizkid is his little bro, and he knows well enough not to cross him on a blood gang. Is Wizkid seeing him as a big bro though?

Hmm...how time flies, and things change. From 'big sister' to being 'just friends' to 'stay sexy for daddy' to 'kissing on stage', and now to 'ass grabbing.' What should we expect next from the rumoured celebrity couple?

JUST friends? Nope! Our beloved 29-year-old Wizkid and 39-year-old Tiwa Savage are obviously past that. They are special friends. Will they defy the odds and become arguably Nigeria's biggest celebrity couple? Only time would tell.
